My first time doing #SEEK, so far have been diligent with the prayer calls, reading the devotional & doing the food & financial fast, but insomnia & worry have me failing the social media fast. Praying for strength & community help.

I watch ASBC 11:00 service and have been watching for a while. The day SEEK was announced I knew I had to join. This is my first experience with ASBC on this fast and I am truly excited to see where God leads me.

Day 4, God has already amazed me....He is disciplining me in "love". But that's who He is, even when He disciplines us He is loving. Did I say its Day 4? Can you imagine what's going to happen by Day 40!! I'm excited!

Don’t be a Bystander (Tuesday) - Got a very upsetting phone call regarding one of my loved ones being suspended /expelled from school. Had the privilege to disciple her about repenting and asking God for mercy and favor in the situation. SEEKING!!

I started preparing for SEEK 2025 in December! I have never felt stronger on a fast before. God revealed to me last night during prayer who I am fasting for and why. Today He led me to Ephesians 4:3 and I read all of chapters 4 and 5 and I’m not done

Daily I wake with a song on my heart. Not communing with God as I felt I should be, I asked Him to give me a song & scripture. He gave 3:Deut 33:27; Psalm 62:5-6; 1 Peter 1:16. The song:Holy, Holy, Holy Encouragement to continue. Thank you Jesus

Today i am grateful for learning to trust God. returned home yesterday realizing my walllet was misdsng. i was too cold and tired to return to work. found it placed in window sill of a lobby today, missng $, all cards and IDs in place. God is good

I woke this morning (1/22/25) feeling well rested and refreshed. I have not felt truly rested in a long time. When Pastor begin the prayer this morning he talked about rest. To God be the glory for the things He has done and will do. REST 😊
