I love that we experience SEEK as a congregation! and have various tracks for fasting. Last year I had suffered with an ailment for over a year, many doctors and tests to no avail. Through the discipline of SEEK, I experienced a miraculous healing!

I used to give a quick ty to God upon waking. No more! I’m still up at 5 or 6am to commune with God; worship, prayer, Bible reading, and journaling. I’m praying throughout the day, asking God to order my steps. I have joy & peace to share!

In Feb, while participating in Seek, I had a progress PET scan that revealed a 95% reduction in the tumor size.
I’m a little late in posting but I will say that this is my 3rd year participating in Seek and I grew in a totally unexpected way. I’m so thankful and it has set me on a path of new discipline, discernment , discovery, action, and growth.
This fast truly helped me to draw closer to God and to have the strength to let things go. To put my cares in God's hands and leave them there. I'm so at peace now. I can sleep better. My trust in God is so much stronger.
The discipline of prayer, fasting, devotion and abstaining from social media and entertainment gave me the strength to endure a health crisis with my husband with joy and peace. God brought him through every obstacle! Praise God for His goodness.
I started the SEEK fast late, completed 28 days, yet it felt like 40.😊 Walking like Christ did in love can be challenging at times . My takeaways during this period are helping me to reexamine my heart and present issues to the Lord in repentance.
My FIRST year participating in SEEK and I have to say — challenges aside — I really appreciate the journey, with Pastor Wesley at the helm, leading all the way through!!! I could not have done all 40 days without the prayer calls. Can we do 30 days?
This fasting season has helped me to make a lifelong commitment to read the books of the Bible more, spend more time meditating and praying. Praise the Lord and thank you Alfred Street.
During SEEK25, I strengthened my relationship with God by turning off the TV to read Guideposts Know the Bible in 30 Days by J. Stephen Lang. Then, God increased my finances and my work-from-home employment. I'm grateful and still seeking!😃
I have been so blessed during my seek fast. The morning prayers inspired me. God has revealed so many things to me regarding a closer relationship with him. Although the fast is over, hallelujah! I will continue to seek the Lord's face.
I am truly grateful for being a part of the SEEK fast with your church. This journey has deepen both mine and my Mom's walk with the Lord. ASBC and Pastor Wesley keep being obedient to what God is saying as we are all watching. Be Blessed.

I'm a federal employee. The assault on the federal workforce has been savage. I was ANGRY and my tongue was locked & loaded. During the first day of the fast, I asked God for PEACE during this administration. I'm PEACEFUL.
I placed an issue into the SEEK prayer box the day before SEEK began, and the day after SEEK ended...I woke up no longer owing that $72,000.00! He is truly worthy to be praised!
SEEK was amazing! This is my first year and I am looking forward to SEEK2026. I wish I lived closer, because Alfred Street would be my church. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of ASBC.
things will be alright and that I won’t understand. After her passing God spoke to me . He gave courage to share what God did for me in spite of death. God told me save my soul and begin to tell others about the goodness of God even in death.
