I have grown so much comparison to Seek 2024. 't taste I have to remind my self don't taste that. When I put something in my mouth that is not on the food list I immediately get rid of it. I thank God even when I mess up.

SEEK 2025. I am eating much healthier and not missing dairy and bread. Given my medical condition, I ate protein last night(fish) even though I am getting it through my veggies and nuts. My spending has been for tithes, food and cleaning products.

The prayers each morning have been a blessing. Iโ€™ve not missed one and it was needed. Traveled to Atlanta from Durham NC to my only grandsonโ€™s second birthday party. Took my โ€œDanielโ€ fast food with me. I DID NOT eat cake! Praise God!

My SEEK journey has allowed me to get more rest and focus on creative ways to eliminate distractions (bought waterproof headphones for swimming and I listen to the Bible in a Year podcast while at the gym). Iโ€™m also encouraged by friends and family.

This is my first time truly committing to a fast. During these past 32 days Iโ€™ve received so much clarity and discernment. More than anything, my faith has grown exponentially. I am ever appreciative of this journey. It is literally changing my life.

Pastor Wesley's prayer on Day 32 has me in tears. I am weeping over the judgment that will be directed at the USA as the wealthy and powerful act in such cruel and hateful ways. Jesus prayed for us. Lord, have mercy.

Praise God for His Grace & Mercy! I am grateful for this time to truly seek HIM, to draw closer, to listen, and to grow in faith. This FAST has been a journey of discipline, renewal, & revelation.

Jesus fasted for ME for 40 days! Now I can see just how hard that can be! Who else has THAT kind of love for you? Nobody BUT Jesus! The Lord has shown me Miracles, Signs, and Wonders! If I told you all of it, you wouldn't believe me! โคโคโค

NO!! We get a chance to witness Christ power in our weakness. So if that no is getting you out of the way so that God's will can be done to God be the glory. Just ask God to give you the mind and the heart to accept no!!
Rev. Stephanie Duncan from Tempe wrote on February 19, 2025 at 8:18 am
How do I live when God say's no? Well I think according to part what the scripture say's 2 Corinthians 12:9 just remember that the power of Christ is rest ing upon (me) you. It makes sense to me to give God the glory and praise.

I'm not a big meat eater and fasting from all types of meats taught me that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. The prayers has been such a blessing in my life. Thank you Pastor Wesley!

Praise the Lord! Today I found out that I have lost 18 pounds! I never thought about weight loss until last week. Getting and staying closer to God has provided a mental, physical and spiritual CD that I can collect on daily.

Every sense I started seek from the beginning I was worried about a bill that had to be paid. I didnโ€™t know how it was going to be paid but then yesterday I felt peace come over my body I knew everything was going to be okay. Today God fixed it ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ

This is my first Seek and fast. Day 2, God challenged me to โ€œLive Out Loveโ€. A distant family member, returned in my life asking for help. The Lord asked, โ€œWill you step up?โ€ Answer: โ€œYes Lord, if your Presence goes with meโ€. This is my Seek journey.

Thankful for ASBC & Pastor Wesleyโ€™s vision for SEEK. Instead of a stress eater, Iโ€™ve become a stress prayer ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ. So grateful to be a part of SEEK 2025. Be blessed.

Prioritizing the morning prayer and daily reading, no unnecessary spending, dietary restrictions, and no social media. Feeling "lighter" and more connected to God's will by the day. SEEK is working!
