This is amazing! I am 30 days in on this SEEK journey. I have never intentionally participated in prayer and fasting before, and here I am committed to one for 40 days. Surprisingly, progressing well, and Increasingly sensing Gods presence in my life

This is the first time in my life that I've participated in a 40-day fast. I've found it to be a much needed cleansing process for me as far as clear thinking and making better decisions. Thank you Pastor Wesley for your godly leadership.

I was battling a lot of fear, anxiety, and confusion about how to get closer to God. I can do the church work but needed to go deeper spiritually. During my Seek fast God has shown me how to draw closer to him for all my problems. Thank you, Lord.

Eating healthier and looking forward to a good report. Thank God -heard my prayers for a better relationship with daughter and grandkids - and for his grace and mercy when we fall -with God's help and get back on track.

I was writing about the homeless and accidently hit send. When you share money, be generous, don't judge, if they are conspiritors, God will deal with them. With the money I am saving, I can be even more generous. To God be the Glory!

My retired pastor & colleague received a terminal medical diagnosis. surgeon scheduled major surgery, and is ghosting him. Ageism is alive and well in the medical community. We prayed last night God answered through your prayer this morning.

This is my 4th Seek journey with ASBC and every year I receive greater blessings. I am grateful for the space to be in corporate prayer with my church and community. To God be all the glory for the great favor that he bestowed upon us allโคโคโค

SEEK has assisted me with curtailing my disdain and anger with the state of the government. The morning prayer, readings and Pastor Wesley's leadership thru SEEK is truly helpful and inspiriting.

I have fasted with ASBC for a few years. Each time I increase to grow in my commitment and in prayer. This year along with food, finances, social media, etc., I gave up watching Kountry Wayne on YouTube. I did not realize I got addicted. It was hard.

Am I hungry or am I craving? The fast offers suffient substance to feed the body but not enough to feed the craving. When I think about what I desire, I think about how I am feeling physically, mentally and spiritually. Last week will intensify!

Yesterday I lost a friend and was calm enough to whisper to her in her final hours that all was well with her soul, take His hand, everybody left here will be okay as He has them in His keeping power. She closed her eyes for the last time, AMEN!

SEEK each year always reminds me to stay focused on God. My Bible studies are more consistent and clearer. We had a tornado Saturday night and I still have peace. God is in control of everything and I will continue to trust Him. Oh how I love Jesus!

This is a first for me. I am so grateful for Alfred Street! I was motivated to join SEEK because I needed a spiritual lift going into this year. I have been mightily blessed by the daily prayer, commentaries and the playlist. I can make it to day 40!

I woke Friday an employee of Catholic Charities working in the refugee community, by noon I and 78% of my co-workers were furloughed. This Sunday morning I'm living in our Savior's grace for sustaining me in "my shaky."

I joined SEEK to be still and focus. The daily prayer calls are what fuel my day! Iโ€™m not perfect in every aspect of SEEK(diet๐Ÿ˜ฉ),BUT GOD! I am better! I feel clearer and closer to God. I remind myself that this is not a marathon, but a journey!๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ

Well, the house is quiet and two bible studies at my home church plus Sunday school keeps me busy . I'm on the prayer line daily and my only regret is that I 'm not a better cook. I made a big pot of vegetable soup .

And when he had fasted 40 days and 40 nights, he was afterward an hungred. As the Holy Spirit has called us away from some things for these 40 days. Don't be so eager to go back to what he has called us from. Otherwise what was the purpose
