During SEEK, I had family, medical, financial challenges to contend with as well as my status as a Fed, but God helped me to remain faithful. I will:
1. Take prayer and devotional time as soon as I stir in the morning
2. Pray with family before work
Thank you Pastor Wesley! What a journey! Along the way I met Two new wonderful Black women in the faith during my studies. I have found a new lane of study thanks to this time of seek! Thank you for praying with us for 40 days WOW!

This has truly been a journey. I thank God for directing me along the way. Thank you Pastor Wesley for allowing God to use you. Through the time I spent seeking God, I learned alot about my relationship with Christ and I have grown through it. 🙏
I learned during Seek to stay focused on where God wants to change me in His image. God said, I am made in His image and likeness, I have to recognize when I’m out of character so I keep my peace and do His will. Glory be to God🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
The church did their best job this year with all aspects of the SEEK curriculum. I’ve participated in all but one since 2019 when it started and although there are several physical fast of 2019 transformed my body the most, this year was my heart.
This is my 1st time fasting for forty days. I enjoyed waking up hearing the word and prayer. I have gotten so much closer to God and reading my Bible. I feel the change in me feeling the need to read my Bible every day. Thank you Pastor Howard !

This was not my first Seek Fast but this one was different for me .God is doing something new. Thank you Reverend Wesley for being Obedient to God and leading His people to Seek His Face and continue to grow closer to Him.
My SEEK experience was phenomenal. One of my members joined me. It has been one revelation and open door after another. I was in spiritual warfare all of 2024. As a Pastor, this is what I needed. My ministry and life has changed. God be praised.
Seek has given me the opportunity to quiet the noise. I’m a federal employee, mom to young adults and someone with lots of anxiety. Seek allowed me to tune out as much of the madness as I could and give it to God. Protected my sanity so I can LIVE.
It is the last day of the 40 day fast. Thank you Jesus. It has been an eye opener for me. I feel I am closer to God. It’s made me see certain things in my life in a different perspective. It’s made me stronger in life either way eyes wide open.
I thank God for this journey,I turned off the movies (Utube) and spent time in the word and listened to sermons from Pastor Wesley. Truly with God, all things are possible. I won't go back to the way it used to be. Thank you Lord!
SEEK changed me mentally and physically! I am grateful to God for his revelation of what was causing physical problems in my GI tract. Praise God for the 40 mornings of prayer!! May God richly bless Alfred Street and Pastor Wesley!
On this final day of SEEK, I am grateful to have accepted the invitation to join on Day One and God allowed me to become clear on what my mission is in the coming weeks. I thank God for new opportunities to find hope and peace.
God has been working and I see so many blessings to include restoration of relationships, my son receiving a full scholarship in a Masters to PhD program at UNC Greensboro and healing my brother from 3 heart attacks.

This is my first time doing a 40-day fast. How
happy I am that I did it. I could not have gotten through the last 40 days without your prayers, encouragement and a belief that God's got this! Amen.
I started on this journey in January and can say hallelujah for completing the journey. I started this fast to give up my daily reading of the newspaper, to give up my onstant viewing news on television. No news for forty days.
I’m testifying God’s goodness because I don’t believe it’s by coincidence I started this program homeless living in a hotel but today on the last day of seek I’m moving into my apartment. God is a miracle worker. All praise be to the most high!
What a life changing experience! I thank GOD for the victory and I'm grateful for the seek journey. To GOD be the glory!
