This is my first SEEK, and the lack of support from friends, family, and coworkers has been unexpected. They turn away when I mention Iโ€™m fastingโ€”the opposite of what Iโ€™d imagined. Itโ€™s tough, but God strengthens me daily. Truly, Iโ€™m so thankful.

Finally, I gladly report that I attended a Founders' Day Brunch for my sorority (Sat.) and a Super Bowl party (Sun.) with in-laws and I was able to socialize in both settings and not break my fast. With God + SEEK, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜‡

SEEK has made my daughter and I closer. Her eating habits are improving. Also, she said "I miss eating (fast food) with you, but you are nicer during this fast." She also asks lots of questions about how i'm doing it. #SEEKWitness

Praise God that the testimonials have been updated. It really blesses me to read about the SEEK experiences and breakthroughs of others. Thank you to the seek staff for all the work you do to keep us all encouraged and motivated on this journey.๐Ÿ’•

Moved to the DMV with nothing. Started SEEK to draw closer to the Lord. I got a job (new field) as a Career and Academic Advisor for my Alma mater, Howard University. Pray God uses my testimony to encourage young adults in their journey to purpose.

The daily SEEK devotionals have allowed me to take time each day and pause and really reflect on how love has impacted my life in the past and how living out love manifest in daily life.

GM Seek Family: The high of the Super Bowl is crashing, and our Spiritual Senses have sober up. Today's prayer was one of conviction! It is time to live God's prescribed plan and stop comparing our lives with others! Peace and Blessings!

My big challenge is food restrictions, especially sweets. I had several events to attend, a Baby Shower, Super Bowl party and a Weddings. Then I said how well I know Godโ€™s sustaining power with out challenges. I attended them all. But God ๐Ÿ™Œ

So excited that since about the second week of SEEK I am awake before my alarm goes off for the daily prayer call. I believe God is confirming that He wants my early morning attention... Pastor Wesley always has an inspired prayer for the day.

Excited and blessed to participate in SEEK again this year. Several family members are participating and I have friends across the country, who I didn't know connected with ASBC, are also participating in SEEK. Praise God!

I have been looking a way for my kids to volunteer, but we have not found the right fit. Today, Whole Foods gave me an extra bag of non-perishable food by โ€œmistakeโ€โ€”now, I am trusting God to show us where itโ€™s needed!

Iโ€™m so grateful for this fast, for this community, and for this journey of faith. If youโ€™re on the fence about fasting, I encourage you: lean in, trust the process, and watch how God moves in your life. #PeaceBeyondUnderstanding

21 days ago, I thought giving up coffee and social media would be impossible. These have been constants in my adult life. But today, Iโ€™ve never felt more energized, more present, and more connected to Godโ€™s presence.

I slipped up. I prayed and asked for strength in the so many temptations. I am back on track and am committed to the next 21 days . Thank you God for forgiveness
